Organized orientation and  training programs offered to parliamentarians and staff by the Library of Parliament. This involved  20 to 25 seminars a year on both practical topics such as An Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure,  Understanding the Estimates Process, Parliamentary Privilege, How to Handle the Media,  Doing Research on the Internet,  How to Resolve Constituent’s Problems as well as public policy issues such as Global Warming,  Transportation Policy,  Health Care for an Aging Population.  Also organized Distinguished Visitor Lectures by outstanding individuals from the arts and sciences.
